Privacy policy

FixSpotter Ltd (“FixSpotter”, “we”) is registered in England and Wales, company number 15925399, registered office 91 Battersea Park Road, London SW8 4DU, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: info@fixspotter.com.

1. What this policy covers

This policy covers fixspotter.com (the “Site”) and the personal data we process when you enquire about or use our services: performance marketing, software development and equipment supply.

2. Data we collect

  • Enquiries. Name, work e-mail, company, the module you are interested in and the text of your message, sent through the contact form or by e-mail.
  • Clients and partners. Contact details of the people we work with, contract and billing details, campaign and delivery records needed to perform the agreement.
  • Site usage. The Site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) for security and performance for a limited period.
  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal (legitimate interests; steps before a contract).
  • To perform a contract with a client or partner, including invoicing and reporting (contract).
  • To keep records required by law, such as accounting records (legal obligation).
  • To protect the Site and our services from fraud and abuse (legitimate interests).

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for automated decisions with legal effect on you.

4. Sharing

We share data only with providers that help us operate: the form-processing service that delivers contact form messages to our mailbox, our hosting provider in the European Union, e-mail and document tools, and professional advisers. Providers act on our instructions under written agreements. In performance marketing campaigns we do not receive end users’ personal data from advertisers beyond aggregated or pseudonymous attribution data held in the client’s own measurement platform.

5. International transfers

Our servers are in the European Union. Where a provider processes data outside the UK or EEA we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention

Enquiries: 12 months after the last contact unless a contract follows. Client and partner records: the term of the agreement plus 6 years for accounting and legal purposes. Server logs: up to 30 days.

7. Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to info@fixspotter.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.

8. Security

Data is stored on access-controlled systems, transmitted over encrypted connections and limited to the people who need it. See our Information security policy.

9. Changes

We update this policy when our practices change and show the date at the bottom of the page.
